The countdown is on until our housewarming party. We have.. Okay, I have put time, effort, and sweat into this house. When discussing the timing for the party the other night, we both felt overwhelmed with the amount left to do. Talking about it last night, it's possible to get it all done.
Left to do:
Finish removing the dust from the fireplace remodel (30 minutes).
Touch up paint in several rooms (1 day).
Kitchen floor (4-5 days).
Kitchen cabinets (4-5 days).
Paint kitchen (1 day).
Living room area rug (already spent 2 months looking for one... any ideas?)
Install a new bathroom window (1 day)
Move water heater to side of house and build a shed for it (2 days).
Redo the electricity in the garage (1 day).
Get the lawn to grow (sod? giving up on lawn seed and worm poop fertilizer).
Fertilize and plant back garden (2 days).
Finish planting gardens (2 days).
Get Ellie to stop digging up new plants (forever)
So based on this, our house will be done in a month or so. Please email me your addresses for the invitations.
