James bet that he could make me smile........ Sooooooo....... We got a puppy today!
Her name is Eleanor Roosevelt(Ellie for short). It was originally Lucy but Lucy was the name of FDR's mistress (and James finally caved into letting me name our dog Elanor).
She's a border collie mix. At 6 months, she is almost 16 pounds but she is really small for a border collie so might only get up to 25 pounds at most.
James was right, he could make me smile. She has my heart and evidently, I have hers- Her tail stops wagging when I leave the room.
I set an appointment with my boss for 1pm on Monday to officially quit. Wish me luck.
